Catella Expands Team: Julia Bauer on Board as New Senior Project Manager

Her tasks at Catella Project Management include the development and elaboration of project strategies, concepts and objectives, taking into account the economic, technical and legal framework conditions. In addition, she works closely with clients, investors, authorities and other relevant project partners and will be responsible for leading and motivating project teams.

Julia Bauer holds a master's degree in industrial engineering specialising in civil engineering, which she completed at RWTH Aachen University in 2014. She began her professional career as a Development Manager at Unibail Rodamco Westfield, where she specialised in the development of projects with a focus on retail and complementary housing between 2014 and 2018. She then worked as a Senior Project Manager at GERCHGROUP AG. There, she focussed on the acquisition of building rights for major projects as well as carrying out technical due diligence in the context of project acquisitions.

In recent years, Julia Bauer has increasingly focussed on the area of sustainability. In 2023, she completed further training as a consultant for sustainable building (BNB) and is currently working towards her qualification as a building biologist IBN.

Around 4,000 new apartments are currently being built in the Rhineland alone, including 147 subsidised apartments in Grand Central at Düsseldorf Central Station, which were completed in autumn 2023.
