Catella Real Estate AG has received the prestigious Scope Award 2020 in the Sustainability category together with the Swiss bank J. Safra Sarasin. The companies have thus prevailed against well-known competitors. Catella's sustainability concept, which has been continuously developed since the company was founded, and its close cooperation with Sarasin in the field of sustainable real estate since 2011 have now been rewarded with the award.
At this year's Scope rating agency gala at the old stock exchange in Frankfurt am Main, Munich investment manager Catella Real Estate AG won the prestigious Scope Award in the "Sustainability" category together with the Swiss bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd. Catella thus prevailed against numerous well-known competitors.
"We are very proud of this award. It is proof of our good work and cooperation with the bank J. Safra Sarasin, which we have established over the past 8 years in the field of sustainable real estate. The growing demand for sustainable funds is an incentive to further expand our sustainability strategy," says Henrik Fillibeck, CEO of Catella Real Estate AG.
Catella Real Estate AG received an award for its holistic sustainability concept for real estate funds. The company has anchored the issue of sustainability in its corporate culture since its inception and, together with Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd., initiated one of the first sustainable real estate special funds in 2011. Today Catella Real Estate AG already offers three sustainable real estate funds, others are being planned. A dedicated sustainability unit ensures that expertise is constantly expanded both inside and outside the company.
In addition to sustainability at product level, Catella Real Estate AG is also active at company level. By reporting in accordance with the German Sustainability Code DNK, Catella Real Estate AG creates transparency and comparability with its sustainable actions.
In addition to the award for sustainability, Catella secured a second award in the category "Institutional Real Estate Residential" in the residential real estate sector.
