In Catella CREDI Finland Q2 2022, the main index declined to a record low level below the previous rock bottom from two years ago when the Covid pandemic started.
High inflation in the beginning of this year followed by rising interest rates translated into an index decline in the results of the CREDI survey. The sub-indices that changed the most were margins and availability of financing. Nearly all respondents agreed about increased margins and poorer availability of financing during the past six months. Early 2022 was seen particularly challenging for the market, but expectations for the rest of the year remain neutral.
