Catella was instructed by the property owners in cooperation with the special servicer, Hatfield Philips, to sell the"Reindeer" shopping centre portfolio consisting of 18 properties in Finland. Properties are located in eight cities, mainly in university cities and CBD locations. The largest part of the portfolio is located in Lappeenranta, where the most significant assets are shopping centres Weera and Armada.
The lettable area of the portfolio is approximately 60,000 sqm and the tenant mix of the portfolio includes well known retail and hotel industry chains.
The Buyer of the portfolio is City Kauppapaikat Oy, which is a Finnish real estate investor and developer that already owns several shopping centres.
Catella acted as the seller's advisor on the transaction.
